Here are details regarding the upcoming AMS Coed Soccer season--PLEASE NOTE:  due to a scheduling conflict, the gender-specific tryouts are being switched; Boys only on Mon & Girls only on Tue.

The program is Coed, offering Varsity & JV levels with practices after school most days & playing a 10-game schedule in April/May.

Tryouts
Mon, Mar. 9 -- Boys only 6/7/8th grade tryouts at the AMS Upper Field from 3:30-5:00pm
Tue, Mar. 10 -- Girls only 6/7/8th grade tryouts at the AMS Upper Field from 3:30-5:00pm
Wed, Mar. 11 -- Combined tryouts at the AMS Upper Field from 3:30-5:00pm

In order to try out, a current physical must be on-file with the building nurse.  Check with your building nurse or email me (sharper@altonschools.org) to confirm.  The SIHF Clinic at AHS is available for sports physicals--call 618-208-8574 for info.

Athletic registration forms are available on the Healthy Roster app (see attached letter).  Both documents must be signed by both the athlete & a parent/guardian.  These are good for the school year, so if completed for a previous sport, you're good.

Players need to wear athletic gear & molded cleats, but bring tennis shoes for moving indoors due to bad weather.  Activity bus is available for a ride home, if needed--sign up with your floor clerk by the end of the day.  If you have questions, contact Coach Funk or Coach Chinchilla through Parent Square.
